The objective of Chapter 3: maxilla and the mandible of small animals and how it relates to the placement and restoration of dental implants. It is not intended to provide an in-depth knowledge of the anatomy of the head of small animals but only to how the anatomy relates to the placement of implants into animals. On successful completion of this chapter, you will be in a better position to intelligently treatment plan and place dental implants into small animals to again maximal support for the implant without jeopardizing vital structures of the animal.
