The objective of Course #9: Fixed Detachable Prostheses is to teach you what Fixed Detachable Prostheses are, how they differ from other over dentures, how to design prostheses and the techniques necessary to fabricate the prostheses. As well, the reader will be introduced to the terminology commonly used in implant dentistry plus answers to several of the most commonly asked questions by patients.

On successful completion of this course, you should be able to take proper impressions, design the prosthesis for the desired result, direct the laboratory to fabricate the prosthesis and secure the prosthesis properly onto the metal bar.
